Dr. Timothy C. Powell

Dr. Powell is the owner of the practice and has been practicing optometry in the Valley for twenty two years.

He received his Doctorate in 1987 from Pacific University College of Optometry . He has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University. He is certified to diagnose and treat diseases of the eyes, as well as pre-, and post- operative care for cataracts, lasik and other refractive procedures. Dr. Powell uses the latest technology for fitting contacts and fits all types of contacts including the latest Synergy lens.

Outside of the office Dr. Powell likes to travel internationally, 'play' fantasy football and scuba dive.

Dr. Jacob Miller

Dr. Miller is a native of Boise, Idaho. After completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, Dr. Miller received his doctorate degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2006. He completed his first clinical internship at Hu Hu Memorial Hospital in Sacaton, AZ where he worked with the Pima Indians of the Gila River Reservation. He then interned at Barnett Dulaney Perkins Eye Center in Phoenix, AZ, and his final internship was at Amarillo V.A. Hospital, Amarillo, TX. While in school Dr. Miller was a member of the National Optometric Student Association, the American Optometric Student Association, and a committee member of the student's quarterly publication, the SCOPE, for which he authored several articles. He is currently a member of the Arizona Optometric Association (AZOA)and the American Optometric Association (AOA)

Dr. Miller has gained diverse clinical experience from his various internships including: contact lens fitting, pediatric optometry, geriatric optometry, laser surgery co-management, as well as treatment of ocular disease.

He enjoys sports, outdoor activites and spending time with his family, including his wife and two young sons
